The link covers HF, VHF, and UHF to telemetry and SATCOM bands P, L, S, and C, and offers strong spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) performance.

WASHINGTON – ViaLite Communications in Washington is introducing the Mil-Aero 10 MHz to 6 GHz RF over fiber link pair for demanding land, sea, and aircraft applications.

The Mil-Aero link is for telemetry systems, signals intelligence (SIGINT), tethered aerostat and drone applications, and electronic warfare (EW) systems where fiber is an essential replacement to coaxial cable.

It covers bands from HF, VHF, and UHF through to telemetry and satellite communications (SATCOM) bands P, L, S, and C. It also offers strong spurious free dynamic range (SFDR) performance for high-bandwidth applications or where the application has a large range of RF signal powers.

The link also has a low noise figure, optional gain and 1 dB compression points. Supporting distances as far as 50 kilometers, the Mil-Aero link is available in rack chassis card or OEM module, including a black OEM design for outdoor applications.
