Adapters are for Wi-Fi and WiMAX solutions; cellular base stations; RFID and Bluetooth barcode scanners; handheld devices; and GPS modules.

WASECA, Minn. – Cinch Connectivity Solutions in Wesaca, Minn., is introducing UMC-to-SMA adapters to support conversion between UMC and the popular SMA connectors with a jack-plug and plug-jack version.

The Cinch Johnson series of UMC-to-SMA adapters complement the UMC family offering of a printed circuit board-mounted connector and more than 75 cable assemblies, available in low- and ultra-low-profile mating heights of 2.5 millimeters and 2.0 millimeters, in standard fixed lengths between 50 millimeters and 500 millimeters.

UMC connectors, adapters, and cable assemblies are for applications with 50-ohm impedance requirements, operating to 6 GHz, and are compatible with the U.FL interface.

These adapters commonly are used in Wi-Fi and WiMAX solutions; cellular base stations; RFID and Bluetooth inventory barcode scanners; handheld devices, and GPS modules.
