Air Force sets up on-line program office

U.S. Air Force officials have a blueprint in place for running their program offices electronically over the Internet. They are creating a virtual integrated digital environment for their Global Air Traffic Operations/Mobility Command and Control System Program Office at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass. This means that program managers can track every aspect of their group`s activity via the Internet. Those who can gain access to the program office`s activities over the World Wide Web include top Air Force leaders, as well as officials of the Air Force Electronic Systems Center, the program office`s parent command, which also is located at Hanscom. "We have set up all our operational processes on the Web, from routine reports from each integrated product team, to detailed tracking documents on each and every area of program business, says Col.
