Leaders of Fairchild Semiconductor in South Portland, Maine, completed their acquisition of Raytheon Electronics Semiconductor division in Mountain View, Calif., and say they will use the purchase to bolster their presence in the analog and mixed signal business. Fairchild executives will call the former Raytheon Semiconductor business the Fairchild Analog and Mixed Signal Products Group, which will target the industrial, communications, broadcast video, and PC markets. Fairchild specializes in logic, non-volatile memory, and discrete power and signal technologies. - J.K.
