DY 4 unveils rugged Fibre Channel PMC modules

March 1, 1998
Engineers at DY 4 Systems in Kanata, Ontario, are offering a new PCI Mezzanine Card (PMC)-based host bus adapter called the PMC-640. This card uses ANSI-standard Fibre Channel for mission-critical applications that require high data throughput, low latency, real-time transfers, and minimized host processor overhead. Company engineers intend these PMCs for applications in digital signal processing, radar, sonar, network backbones, system clustering, video and image processing, and map displays. T
