Officials at U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) in Tampa, Fla., needed a technology partner to service U.S. military satellite communications (MILSATCOM) equipment fielded in Iraq. They found a partner with DataPath Inc. in Duluth, Ga.

DataPath won a $1.9 million contract to provide field services for DataPath Deployable Ku Band Earth Terminals (DKETs) installed at a key communications hub in Iraq. DataPath engineers are delivering on-site service to ensure the operation and reliability of DKET systems. Built and installed by DataPath, the DKETs are critical high-bandwidth satellite communications hubs, says a representative. For more information, visit DataPath online at www.datapath.com.
