ANDOVER, Mass., 18 May 2005. Dynamics Research Corp. announced today that InfoPro Corp. and Asynchrony Solutions, Inc. are each awarding it separate subcontracts to support the Joint Explosive Ordnance Disposal (JEOD) Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD).

DRC anticipates revenues under these contracts that will run from May through September 2005 will be approximately $3 million.

DRC is part of an integrated team developing the JEOD Decision Support System (DSS). The JEOD DSS is designed to provide operational and training support to Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) personnel confronting threats such as Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs).

DRC and other team members are supporting the JEOD DSS development by providing systems, software, database, and engineering services for the DSS and providing subject matter expertise on EOD operations.

The JEOD DSS consists of three main components: the Mobile Field Kit (MFK) application, the JEOD Portal, and the JEODNET infrastructure component.

The MFK provides EOD technicians with numerous functions including access to a knowledge base containing information on known IEDs and unexploded ordnance. The JEOD Portal allows EOD technicians anywhere in the world to access training and intelligence reports. The JEODNET infrastructure is the supporting backbone of the JEOD DSS, providing network connectivity and security features and allowing EOD technicians in the field to communicate with experts at other locations.

"DRC is pleased to continue our support for the critical EOD role of protecting our warfighters by providing support for combating the IED threat," said James P. Regan, DRC chairman and CEO. DRC will lead this effort from its Orlando, Fla. office.
