Optima EPS introduces line of rugged consoles, desk systems, and enclosures

TUCKER, Ga., 14 June 2008. Optima EPS, an Elma company in Tucker, Ga., is introducing a line of consoles, desk systems, and electronic enclosures for mobile command and communications applications like battlefield command, homeland security, law enforcement, and emergency services.

TUCKER, Ga., 14 June 2008.Optima EPS, an Elma company in Tucker, Ga., is introducing a line of consoles, computer desk systems, and electronics enclosures and chassis for mobile command and communications applications like battlefield command, homeland security, law enforcement, and emergency services.

Company products include full command centers down to electrical enclosures and cabinets for mobile applications, which can be modified to suit most applications. The command centers come in versions including: single, two or three tier viewing levels.

Optima's console design permits peripheral equipment to be installed using standard EIA rack mounting rails that can support more than 300 pounds of equipment. ruggedized versions are optional.
