MEDFIELD, Mass., 8 Aug. 2012. Comark Corp. in Medfield, Mass., is introducing full military testing for the company's 37-inch marine rugged display called the MDU37.

Comark's military display has passed tests including MIL-STD 901D, grade A, medium weight testing; MIL-STD 167, class 1, type A; MIL-STD-810F; and MIL-STD-461E.

These tests are typical requirements for equipment deployed on naval surface ships, Comark officials say.

The MDU37 consists of a 37-inch-diagonal liquid crystal display (LCD) mounted in a rugged, machined-aluminum bezel. The rugged display is capable of continued operation after multiple MIL-STD-901D shock hits.

The display features a wide viewing angle, LED backlighting, conformal coating on all electronics, an optional touch screen, and an integrated computer.

The integrated computer option is available with Intel i5/i7 processing and up to eight gigabytes of RAM.

The MDU37 is manufactured in the USA using long-life components, to ensure multi-year availability for long-term marine and military applications, and also complies with Federal BAA (Buy American Act) requirements.
