Jacobs wins contract from Air Force Research Laboratory for Sensor Exploitation Assessment

PASADENA, Calif., 4 Mar. 2009. Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has received a task order contract from the Air Force Research Laboratory, Sensors Directorate, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. Officials estimate the potential value of the contract, which runs through February 2016, at $19.7 million. The contract was awarded under the Sensors Technology Research, Development, Test & Evaluation Open-Ended Broad Agency Announcement (STROEB), "Sensor Exploitation Assessment (SEA)."

Jacobs will support independent, impartial, third-party evaluation of sensor exploitation technologies critical to the Air Force mission. Technical objectives include the design, development, modeling, testing, and implementation of performance assessment methodologies to characterize, analyze, demonstrate and simulate systems, algorithms, and technologies to support sensor exploitation technology development activities.
