BURLINGTON, Mass., 29 March 2006. iRobot Corp. has received a new contract delivery order from the U.S. Navy to build additional bomb disposal robots, slated for shipment to the U.S. forces. According to the agreement, iRobot will deliver 213 iRobot PackBot Man Transportable Robotic Systems (MTRS), as well as spare parts with which to repair robots in the field.
