Nallatech appoints new CEO and increases focus on U.S. market

CUMBERNAULD, Scotland, 16 Jan. 2006. Nallatech, a specialist in field programmable gate array (FPGA)-based computers, appointed Craig Anderson as chief executive officer (CEO).

CUMBERNAULD, Scotland, 16 Jan. 2006. Nallatech, a specialist in field programmable gate array (FPGA)-based computers, appointed Craig Anderson as chief executive officer (CEO).

Anderson will focus the company's resources on the U.S. military and aerospace sector. He succeeds Allan Cantle, the company's founder, who will remain in his role as president with responsibility for strategy and business development.

The company's headquarters in Cumbernauld will remain its center of excellence for research and development. The increase in focus on the U.S. market may force employee layoffs at the company's headquarters in Cumbernauld.
