CVG wins $1.3 million Florida Army National Guard contracts for satellite communications equipment

CHANTILLY, Va., 21 Nov. 2007. CVG Inc. (CVG) won more than $1.3 million worth of contracts from the Florida Army National Guard to provide a variety of satellite-based communications equipment, including the CVG 4200 Emergency Communications Kit (CVG 4200). The work was awarded under CVG's indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract with General Services Administration's Satellite Services-II (SATCOM-II) program.

(CVG) won more than $1.3 million worth of contracts from the Florida Army National Guard to provide a variety of satellite-based communications equipment, including the CVG 4200 Emergency Communications Kit (CVG 4200). The work was awarded under CVG's indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract with General Services Administration's Satellite Services-II (SATCOM-II) program.

The CVG 4200 enables first responders to gain broadband connectivity under adverse conditions and in remote locations, providing reliable communications via INMARSAT BGAN satellite, Globalstar or high-speed cellular data networks. The CVG 4200 also provides a mobile office environment with an integrated scanner, printer and rugged laptop.
