OSI Geospatial wins U.S. Army contract to develop, enhance SUSA technology

OTTAWA, Canada, 19 Dec. 2007. OSI Geospatial Inc.'s U.S. Systems Operations has signed a $1.1 million contract with the U.S. Army. Under the contract terms, the company will further develop and enhance its Small Unit Situational Awareness (SUSA) command and control technology to support U.S. Army operations in extreme environments. Work will be performed over the next 12 months.

OTTAWA, Canada, 19 Dec. 2007.OSI Geospatial Inc.'s U.S. Systems Operations has signed a $1.1 million contract with the U.S. Army.

Under the contract terms, the company will further develop and enhance its Small Unit Situational Awareness (SUSA) command and control technology to support U.S. Army operations in extreme environments. Work will be performed over the next 12 months.

"We have invested significant resources in developing our SUSA technology over the past few years and this contract provides further evidence that we are on the right track," says Ken Kirkpatrick, president and CEO of OSI Geospatial.

The U.S. and other countries are ramping up procurements to acquire this technology, continues Kirkpatrick.
