Platforms Wireless partners with supplier of command and control solutions for military and first responder communities

LOS ANGELES, 10 July 2007. Platforms Wireless International Corp., developer of the Airborne Relay Communications "ARC" System Core Technology for wireless voice and data communications, entered into a Strategic Partnership agreement with a supplier of expeditionary support systems and major incident response systems for the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, the U.S. General Services Administration, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, military, and emergency and disaster response.

LOS ANGELES, 10 July 2007. Platforms Wireless International Corporation, developer of the Airborne Relay Communications "ARC" System Core Technology for wireless voice and data communications, entered into a Strategic Partnership agreement with a major supplier of expeditionary support systems and major incident response systems for the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, the U.S. General Services Administration, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, all branches of the military, and emergency and disaster response teams, including law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, and the National Guard.

Under the Strategic Partnership Agreement, Platforms' new partner is a Lindstrand Technologies Strategic Partner, who will participate in the development, enhancement, and integration of Platforms' Emergency-911 communications systems, as well as provide ground operations logistical support and command and control oversight of system deployments to critical emergencies and natural or man-made disasters.

The company will integrate and market Platforms' Emergency-911 systems with its own line of infrastructure and logistical support command and control systems.

The RECOM-911 Rapid Response Emergency Communications System is an airborne, transportable wireless communications system designed to provide Cellular and Interoperable Radio communications to emergency first responders during and immediately following a catastrophic emergency, or a natural or man-made disaster.

RECOM-911 can provide 24/7 uninterrupted Cellular and Interoperable Radio communications services to a radius area of up to 70 miles with a service capacity of more than 25,000 users. The system can also provide Internet/VOIP connectivity, as well as video surveillance and sensor (radar) facilities.

The ROSETTA-911 Interoperable Radio Communications System provides interoperable radio/cellular communications facilities that enable different VHF, UHF, 800 MHz radios, and cellular telephones, to interconnect and communicate with each other.
