HERNDON, Va. - The U.S. Marine Corps has awarded Affigent LLC in Herndon, Va., a $65 million firm-fixed-price contract to provide hardware and software licenses for the Operational Command Post-Light (OCP-L), a modular, expeditionary information technology architecture for Fleet Marine Forces.
The architecture is designed to host and rapidly deploy secure, enterprise-grade services at the tactical edge, including in disconnected, intermittent, and limited environments, according to the Department of Defense (DoD) contract announcement. The contract was awarded 21 Sept. 21 and is scheduled to run through 29 March 2027.
Marine Corps budget documents provide additional context on the technology associated with the OCP program. The service says OCP capabilities include NIPRNet and SIPRNet wireless connectivity, tactical chat enhancements, tactical connections to 5G cellular infrastructure to increase bandwidth, kill-chain and kill-web facilitation, cyber-resilience enhancements, graphical user interfaces for commander situational awareness, and updated audiovisual equipment and software.

The same budget document describes the related Combat Data Network (CDN) as providing servers, routers, and switches, with OCP and CDN capabilities supporting small tactical Marine formations conducting Expeditionary Advanced Base Operations. The Marine Corps says fiscal 2026 funding supports continued fielding and kitting of the OCP-L variant and a refresh of CDN network equipment.
The contract announcement does not identify the specific hardware, software products, or manufacturers Affigent will provide under the OCP-L award. The OCP program capabilities described in Marine Corps budget documents therefore provide program context rather than a detailed bill of materials for the Affigent contract.
The full $65,004,949 contract value is being obligated from fiscal 2026 Marine Corps procurement funds. The contract has no option years, and the funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The requirement was competitively procured through the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement, with three offers received.
