Rugged fanless embedded computer for space-constrained applications introduced by WIN Enterprises

Rugged computer supports 8th- and 9th-generation Intel Core processors and the second version of the LGA 1151 chipset supporting Intel's Coffee Lake.

NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. – WIN Enterprises Inc. in North Andover, Mass., is introducing the PL-50040 rugged fanless industrial embedded computer for space-constrained applications such as IoT gateways to monitor and control factory line processes.

The device supports eighth- and ninth-generation Intel Core processors and the second version of the LGA 1151 chipset supporting Intel's Coffee Lake processors.

The space-constrained wall-mountable silent-running device features three independent displays, and also is for counter- and cart- based medical applications. The unit supports DDR4 SODIMM with as much as 32 gigabytes memory.

The rugged computer also has two gigabit Ethernet ports; four communications ports; four USB 3.0 ports; two USB 2.0 ports; two Mini PCI Express slots; and support for mSATA and Wi-Fi modules.
