InnovASIC takes over obsolete IC production

Officials of InnovASIC Inc. of Albuquerque, N.M., are manufacturing and supplying integrated circuits that other vendors render obsolete. Customers may choose any digital IC, such as standard logic, microcontrollers, digital signal processors, or application-specific integrated circuits (ASICs). InnovASIC officials are using this program, which they call F3, to enable customers to eliminate system re-designs or lifetime buys of ICs that will become obsolete. InnovASIC officials take a customer`s request, analyze the requested IC, and then design, manufacture, qualify and test the IC.
