HERNDON, Va., 1 Dec. 2005. iDirect Technologies today announced the completion of their acquisition by Vision Technologies Electronics, Inc., a subsidiary of Vision Technologies Systems, Inc. The acquisition follows the receipt of regulatory approvals and fulfillment of other closing conditions.

iDirect is a manufacturer of two-way internet protocol-based broadband satellite networking solutions. Its customer base includes over 100 companies in the telecommunications services, oil and gas, construction and marine industries, as well as government agencies. Founded in Virginia in 1994, it has 159 employees (keep this as we mentioned in Spore and VTS release) and offices in the United Kingdom, Italy and Hong Kong SAR.
