SYS Technologies provides software for Navy training

SAN DIEGO, Calif., 23 May 2005. SYS Technologies announced today that it has won a $14 million award as part of the winning team on a $71.9 million Total Ship Training System (TSTS) contract award by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division.

SYS Technologies announced today that it has won a $14 million award as part of the winning team on a $71.9 million Total Ship Training System (TSTS) contract award by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division. Lockheed Martin Corp. is the prime contractor.

SYS will be performing a variety of software support activities for the TSTS program office over a five-year period, including program and financial management, software development, systems installation and site support. The TSTS is a proven system for conducting coordinated, realistic combat system, engineering, hull, mechanical and electrical, and damage control training, both aboard ship and ashore.
