NORTH ANDOVER, Mass., 29 Oct. 2015. WIN Enterprises Inc. in North Andover, Mass, is introducing the MB-64050 Mini-ITX embedded computing motherboard for embedded device and desktop and solutions. The board is designed for industrial, medical, retail point of sale, and gaming applications.
The board has the Intel processor formerly code named Intel Skylake-S. Skylake is a 6th generation Core processor. The "S" model is a socketed processor that uses an implementation the Land Grid Array socket, the LGA 1151.
The LGA socket enables the OEM to choose between Intel Core i7/i5/i3 processors. Based on the 14-nanometer manufacturing process, the Intel processor has the goal of delivering greater CPU and GPU performance with reduced power consumption.
Features include LGA socketed 6th Generation Intel Core Skylake-S embedded processor; Intel Q170/H110 express chipset; DDR4 / 2133 MHz to 16 gigabytes; HDMI 1.4b, DP++ and 24-bit LVDS; 2-by-Intel Gigabit Ethernet LAN, 1-by-Mini-PCI Express; 6-by-COM, 8-by-USB, LPC, SMBus; 4-by-SATA w/ RAID, HD Audio; PCI Express X16 and optional X1 PCI Express slot; and DC 12-volt input.

MB-64050 provides operating system support for both Microsoft Windows and Linux operating systems. Microsoft Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 are supported; as are Linux Fedora 15, Ubuntu, and Red Hat.
