Software experts from the U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) in Arlington, Va., will brief industry on the Mining and Understanding Software Enclaves (MUSE) program from 9 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on 7 March 2014 at the DARPA Conference Center, 675 North Randolph St., in Arlington, Va.
Those who would like to attending the briefings must act fast, however. The registration deadline for the MUSE industry briefings is 5 p.m. tomorrow, 28 Feb. 2014.

Register online no later than tomorrow evening at https://www.signup4.net/Public/ap.aspx?EID=DARP303E. Attendance is limited to two people per proposal team.
The MUSE program focuses on program analysis, verification, and big data analytics for specifying, discovering, and understanding properties of complex software systems.
The MUSE industry briefings are to familiarize participants with the program; identify potential proposers; and promote discussion of how companies could work together.

The MUSE Proposers’ Day will be recorded, and DARPA will post a copy of the video online at www.darpa.mil/Opportunities/Solicitations/I2O_Solicitations.aspx.
Companies interested may give presentations during the afternoon session of the MUSE industry briefings to publicize their capabilities and solicit teaming. Presentations will be limited to two minutes and one content slide.

The industry briefings on 7 March 2014 will begin with registration from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by DARPA presentations from 10 to 11:15 a.m. Lunch is from 11:15 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Proposers presentations are from 12:45 to 2:15 p.m. All times are eastern time.
