Curtiss-Wright offers 3U VPX single board computer for rugged embedded systems

LEESBURG, Va., 12 May 2009. Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing in Leesburg, Va., is introducing a multi-card 3U VPX single board computer solution for rugged deployed embedded systems that use military FPGA embedded processor technology.

LEESBURG, Va., 12 May 2009. Curtiss-Wright Controls Embedded Computing in Leesburg, Va., is introducing a multi-card 3U VPXsingle board computer solution for rugged deployed embedded systems that use military FPGAembedded processor technology.

The 3U VPX FPE320 FPGA processor card, 3U VPX VPX3-450 FPGA processor, and 3U VPX VPX3-127 single board computer (SBC) run Wind River's VxWorks. System integrators can use the Xilinx Virtex-5 field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) in a small form factor embedded system powered with a high performance Power Architecture general purpose processor.
