3U 7-slot CompactPCI configurable rugged benchtop chassis for military applications introduced by SIE

BROCKTON, Mass., 15 Nov. 2010. SIE Computing Solutions Inc. in Brockton, Mass., is introducing the 505 series 3U 7-slot CompactPCI configurable benchtop chassis for systems in embedded military, telecommunications, and test and measurement applications. The rugged electronics enclosure is a compact and lightweight aluminum system with front and rear slots.

SIE Computing Solutions Inc. in Brockton, Mass., is introducing the 505 series 3U 7-slot CompactPCI configurable benchtop chassis for embedded systems in embedded military, telecommunications, and test and measurement applications. The rugged electronics enclosure is a compact and lightweight aluminum system with front and rear slots.

This enclosures and chassis systems supports AC or DC input and a pluggable positive pressure cooling scheme in the front. Backplane power-monitoring LEDS for CompactPCI voltages and a rear I/O with AC-DC switch and ESD jack are also integrated with NEBS compliance in mind.

The enclosure measures 17 inches wide and 11.54 inches deep, and has 19-inch EIA rack adapters for front/mid mount. For more information contact SIE Computing Solutions online at sie-cs.com.
