FREMONT, Calif., 11 June 2007. Themis Computer in Fremont, Calif., is offering the TPA-XMC PrXMC/PrPMC module based on the PA6T-1682M PWRficient Power Architecture-based processor from P.A. Semi Inc. in Santa Clara, Calif.

The Themis TPA-XMC provides dual 64-bit processing, flexible high-speed I/O, and low power consumption in a small form factor. The P.A. Semi PWRficient 64-bit multicore processor system-on-chip delivers high performance with low power consumption.

The TPA-XMC, which delivers 64-bit performance while consuming as little as 15 Watts, is an option for power-constrained applications in networking, wireless infrastructure, storage, and military/aerospace systems that run their applications on PowerPC platforms.

The TPA-XMC provides a wide range of I/O options, including Gigabit, 10 Gigabit Ethernet and PCI Express. Eighteen user-configurable serdes lanes enable the TPA-XMC to serve a wide range of high-speed requirements.
