MISSION VIEJO, Calif. – Holt Integrated Circuits in Mission Viejo, Calif., is introducing the HI-5200/HI-5201 extended-temperature 10Base-T/100Base-TX PHY Ethernet transceivers family for military and commercial avionics applications.

The HI-5200/HI-5201 transceiver family provides MII and RMII interfaces, and can operate from one 3.3-volt power supply over a temperature range of -55 to 125 degrees Celsius. Optional burn-in also is available.

The HI-5201 features an enhanced RMII interface, generating a 50 MHz RMII reference clock output for the MAC.

All products also are available in the operating temperature range of -40 C to 105 C and come in 32-pin PQFP and 5 by 5-millimeter QFN packages.

"This extended temperature Ethernet PHY eliminates the necessity to upscreen other commercially available devices and mitigates device obsolescence concerns of our military and aerospace customers," says George Noh, Holt's director of sales and marketing.
