WATERLOO, Ontario – Pixus Technologies in Waterloo, Ontario, is introducing 3U OpenVPX ATR enclosures for mission-critical embedded computing designs.

Applications include electronic warfare (EW); electronic intelligence (ELINT); signals intelligence (SIGINT); command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance; radar and sonar; directed energy weapons; and cyber security and RF spectrum monitoring and control.

These rugged 3U OpenVPX ATR rugged enclosures accept 3U OpenVPX and SOSA-aligned boards. The modular designs come in different I/O and backplane options.

The first in the series of Pixus Mini ATRs features two 3U OpenVPX slots and one VITA 62 PSU slot. Backplanes are available in speeds as fast as 100 Gigabit Ethernet and other configurations.
