FLEMINGTON N.J. – Altech Corp. in Flemington, N.J., is introducing the GEOS series IP67-rated enclosures to safeguard electrical, electronic, and control components in demanding industrial and outdoor applications.

These rugged UL- and CSA-approved units are made from lightweight polycarbonate and feature drain protect seals to protect against most environmental influences.

The Altech GEOS family’s polycarbonate construction withstands impacts and prevents scratches while resisting the effects of sunlight corrosion, rain, cold, heat, oils, greases, and mechanical stresses.

Drain protect is a widely overlapping cover with a built-in drainage channel along the top edge to divert moisture to the back of the unit. An elastomer seal provides additional protection against dust and dirt.

Air ventilation

These electronics enclosures offer an air ventilation element option for continuous and high-rate air exchange to keep condensation outside of the enclosure while maintaining an IP65 rating.

The enclosures offer a temperature range from - 35 to 80 degrees Celsius; insulated protection; a IK09 impact resistance rating; and a modular component mounting system.

GEOS enclosures come in gray and black, with several mounting and closure options. A hinged version, GEOS Cabinet, is available for outdoor applications. For more information contact Altech Corp. online at https://altechcorp.com/module/iqitsearch/searchiqit?s=GEOS+enclosures.
