Northrop Grumman wins U.S. Navy C4I installation support contract for east and west coast ships and facilities

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., 29 Jan. 2011. The U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) selected a team led by Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE:NOC) to compete for task orders to provide shipboard, submarine, and shore-based command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) global installation support.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va., 29 Jan. 2011. The U.S. Navy Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) selected a team led by Northrop Grumman Corp. (NYSE:NOC) to compete for task orders to provide shipboard, submarine, and shore-based command, control, communications, computers, and intelligence (C4I) global installation support.
AMSEC's portion of the C4I technology contract will be performed in Charleston, S.C.; Norfolk/Tidewater Area, Va.; Mayport, Fla.; San Diego; and in other continental U.S. and worldwide areas. The work is expected to be completed by January 2016.
Northrop Grumman subsidiary AMSEC LLC won an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ), multiple-award contract with a ceiling of $794 million. In addition, the contract includes an option that, if exercised, would increase the ceiling value to approximately $1.3 billion.
