FSC acquires simulator training center in Dallas/Fort Worth, expands in Europe

AMSTERDAM, 16 Aug. 2008. FSC has acquired the four-bay simulator training center from Higher Power Aviation in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. The training center, originally built by Schreiner Aviation Training in 1998, was acquired by CAE in 2001 as part of the acquisition of Schreiner Aviation Training. In 2006, the center was sold to Higher Power Aviation who will maintain its training operation in the training center.

AMSTERDAM, 16 Aug. 2008. FSC has acquired the four-bay simulator training center from Higher Power Aviation in Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas. The training center, originally built by Schreiner Aviation Training in 1998, was acquired by CAE in 2001 as part of the acquisition of Schreiner Aviation Training. In 2006, the center was sold to Higher Power Aviation who will maintain its training operation in the training center.

The training center has four simulator bays and is expandable to house 18 full flight simulators. FSC starts its operation with a B737-200 and a B737-300 full-flight simulator to serve existing and new customers.

With the acquisition of the simulator training center, FSC has established a firm base in North America to support its Eclipse 500 training operation and to expand in commercial and business aviation training markets.

FSC is building a new simulator training center at Berlin's new airport Berlin Brandenburg International. The training center is planned to have the first simulators operational in 2009.
