CHATSWORTH, Calif., 3 July 2008. Leaders of embedded computing designer Aitech Defense Systems Inc. in Chatsworth, Calif., are relocating their headquarters to double their operations space.

Aitech, which specializes in open-architecture board- and subsystem-level products for harsh-environment military, aircraft, and space applications, is opening a 22,500-square-foot facility, which combined with the 5,600 square feet of space the company is retaining at its original location, will more than double the company's U.S.-based operations.

"Aitech continues to expand its advanced embedded computing products, engineering development capabilities and customer base throughout the world, including the United States, Israel, Europe, Africa, South America, Asia and Australia," explains Roger Rowe, Aitech's president and chief executive officer.

The company's new facility is about a block away from the original building and will house the company's U.S.-based holding company, Aitech Rugged Group Inc., as well as Aitech Defense Systems Inc.

Aitech's growing Space Systems Group will remain and expand into the original location on Oakdale Road in Chatsworth, Calif. For more information contact Aitech online at www.rugged.com.
