LaBarge to provide Ethernet switch communications for Bradley Fighting Vehicle vetronics

ST. LOUIS, 9 July 2008. LaBarge Inc. in St. Louis will continue to produce the Ethernet switch unit for the U.S. Army M2A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicles under terms of a $2.7 million dollar contract from Bradley prime contractor BAE Systems. The devices route and switch electronic data to the Bradley's vetronics subsystems over the armored combat vehicle's local area network.

The Ethernet switches route and switch electronic data to the Bradley's vetronics subsystems over the armored combat vehicle's local area network.

Bradley A3 communications enable digital information displays for the combat vehicle's commander, driver, and squad leader. The Bradley is an armored personnel carrier armed with heavy machine guns and TOW anti-tank missiles.
