CERDEC sets innovative satellite communications workshop for 17-18 Nov. at Fort Monmouth

FORT MONMOUTH, N.J., 21 Oct. 2009. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC) at Fort Monmouth will host a briefing to industry on innovative military satellite communications (SATCOM) technologies on 17 to 18 Nov. at Gibbs Hall at Fort Monmouth, N.J.

FORT MONMOUTH, N.J., 21 Oct. 2009. The U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Research, Development, and Engineering Center (CERDEC) at Fort Monmouth will host a briefing to industry on innovative military satellite communications (SATCOM) technologies on 17 to 18 Nov. at Gibbs Hall at Fort Monmouth, N.J.

Presentations are intended inform attendees of current and possibly future research and development areas of interest in military communications by satellite. The workshop will provide companies interested in SATCOM technologies the opportunity to network and meet with government personnel in an open seminar sessions on the second day, 18 Nov.

Sponsoring the workshop are officials of the CERDEC Space and Terrestrial Communications Directorate (S&TCD). There is no impending solicitation, and reference to any future work is subject to change.
