Cubic Defense Applications Achieves CMMI capability Level 3 milestone
SAN DIEGO, Calif., 15 Feb. 2009. Cubic Defense Applications Inc. (CDAI), the military system business of Cubic Corp. in San Diego achieved military software CMMI Capability Level 3.
Short for Capability Maturity Model Integration, CMMI is an international performance standard used to measure the maturity of a company's business processes. Software Systems Quality Consulting (SSQC) performed a two-week formal appraisal on Cubic for the CMMI certification.
The CMMI capability adds to Cubic's AS9100 certification that it achieved in 2007.
