Booz Allen to provide information assurance and secure cyber technology to Air Force surveillance and reconnaissance wing

OFFUTT AFB, Neb., 13 May 2010. Engineers at Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc. in Herndon, Va., will provide information assurance and cyber security technology to the U.S. Air Force 55th Wing at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., under terms of two contracts awarded Wednesday.     

OFFUTT AFB, Neb., 13 May 2010. Engineers at Booz Allen & Hamilton Inc. in Herndon, Va., will provide information assurance and cyber security technology to the U.S. Air Force 55th Wing at Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., under terms of two contracts awarded Wednesday.

Booz Allen won a $23.5 million contract develop information security and assurance solutions, and a $19.9 million contract to enable combat-ready forces to conduct secure cyber operations in and through the electromagnetic spectrum with air and space operations.

The Air Force 55th Wing's mission is to provide dominant intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR); electronic warfare attack; command and control; and precision awareness to national leaders and warfighters. Awarding the contracts were officials of the contracting squadron 55th Wing's mission support group.
