On the remaining days of the show, the Abaco team met with Vice Admiral Dean Peters and discussed Abaco’s long history of support to naval aviation and highlighted our new high performance mission computing products. We noted the commitment we make to engage our customers to understand changing mission requirements and where we can make future research investments. The team also met with several aerospace prime contractors during the day, including Boeing, CACI, DRS and Smartronix.
Another very interesting and fruitful meeting was one we had with the Department of Energy to discuss a mission computing need the DoE is attempting to fulfil. We also met with several representatives from industry interested in our computing and avionics products.
Overall, WEST 2019 was a busy and productive show that provided us with some exciting new contacts – and plenty to think about. We’ll look forward to returning next year.
