CompacFrame Type 39A, up to 5 slots, VITA 48.8 AFT

Elma’s all new CompacFrame platform accelerates the development and test of 3U plug-in-cards (PICs) designed according to VITA 48.8, Air Flow Through Cooling standard. The 3U card cage in the platform is tilted upwards by 5° for easier card access.

• Accommodates 3U modules according to the VITA 48.8 Air-Flow-Through (AFT) standard
• Using the 1SVX306APP-1X31 backplane aligns this CompacFrame for SOSA development
• 1400W ATX PSU standard
• Integrated carry handle and 5º upwards tilt to card cage
• Front panel voltage monitoring LEDs, test points, zeroize, NVMRO, reset, and power switches
• Includes VITA 46.11 chassis manager with rear accessible Ethernet and serial ports
• Battery for VBAT connection
• Slots are for 1.5” VITA 48.8 -3UB (bottom to top airflow) modules
• Slot 1 of 1SVX306APP-1X31 backplane is an I/O Intensive slot that supports 3U RTM plus access to Expansion Plane for cabling connections
