Meet the SMD-0.5e and SMD-0.2e, IR HiRel’s enhanced versions of our legacy SMD-0.5 and SMD-0.2 rad hard MOSFET packages. These hermetic devices offer a redesigned approach to mitigate thermal mismatch and related challenges, such as parasitic resistance and inductance, that weaken performance. Our enhanced packages eliminate the need for ribbon leads without jeopardizing hermetic integrity. Moreover, these take up less space and weigh less than the original, providing a more direct thermal path for heat transfer.
