This cable has been specially designed by PIC for airbornehigh-speed data applications as defined by ARINC Specification664.Data transmission aboard aircraft faces more severe environmentaland EMI situations than conventional LAN systemsin commercial buildings, hence special measures have beentaken to preserve technical performance.Each conductor is surrounded by a fluoropolymer dielectricinsulation and is designed to be terminated in with ARINC600 and 38999 quadrax contacts. It is compatible withany contact designed for Draca Fileca cable P/N F4704.A fluoropolymer jacket protects the cable against abrasionand environmental effects while maintaining flexibility forease of installation.E50424 exceeds Category 5e requirements, is Skydrol resistant,RoHS compliant and passes the FAA flammabilityrequirements of FAR Part 23 and 25, Appendix F.
