European Space Power Conference
Côte d’Azur, Juan-Les-Pins, France
The upcoming ESPC will be very special. It will be held in Juan-les-Pins, Côte d’Azur, France, from 30 September to 4 October 2019, marking the 30th anniversary of the ESPC, since 1989. This year, 2019, is also the 50th anniversary of the first human Moon landing, a striking event in the Space Era.
The theme of ESPC 2019 is “Space Power, Achievements and Challenges”. We will bring together experience and knowledge in our field as well as looking forward to the future directions and milestones.
The plenary session on Monday 30 September 2019 will reflect this theme with inspiring invited speakers addressing major technical challenges in the morning, followed by an afternoon dedicated to the Space Prime Contractors’ perspectives on challenges in space and space power.
The days after, Tuesday to Friday, will be specialised with three parallel sessions on Power Management, Power Generation and Energy Storage. There will be also a large industrial exhibition (open for the full week) and a poster session. The technical visits and social events will be outstanding and memorable, at a level befitting this special ESPC.
The attendees will also discover Juan-les-Pins, charming and sunny on the seaside of the beautiful Mediterranean. Juan-les-Pins is the French jazz city, having an annual festival in July but remaining a lively and pleasant resort year-round.
Looking forward to seeing you all in Juan-les-Pins,
Véronique Ferlet-Cavrois
