Abaco Systems Announces Upgraded Software Development Tool to Ease and Speed Development of HPEC Applications

BILLERICA, MA.— January 12, 2016 Abaco Systems today announced an upgrade to its AXIS MPI high performance message passing middleware that will deliver a substantial performance improvement as well as support for GPUdirect™. AXIS MPI was formerly only available as part of Abaco’s unique, innovative AXIS (Advanced Multiprocessor Integrated Software) software development environment, but is now being made available standalone. Concurrently, Abaco announced that both AXIS and AXIS MPI will be supported not only by Abaco’s market-leading HPEC platforms, but also across the company’s full range of single board computers.
