Design Considerations to Get the Best Enclosure for the Job

Nov. 3, 2016

  1. Is the enclosure designed for the environment that it will be located in. Will it be located on the ground or cement pad, or elevated on a pole or wall?
  2. Does it have the right gasketing for protection from dust or moisture?
  3. Have the thermal conditions been taken into account? Will the environment be subjected to high heat or cold, and how much ventilation will be required to keep the electronics at optimal operating temperatures?
  4.  Is it difficult to find a standard sized enclosure that is the right fit, and no budget for a complete custom?

Optima Stantron helps you answer all of those questions, and will design an enclosure that suits your project requirements without breaking the budget. Our modular designs allow us to build enclosures in a wide range of sizes and configurations, so we don't have to start from scratch. We also work to insure the enclosures are qualified to meet the appropriate standards.
