The Berkeley Nucleonics Model 7340 phase noise analyzer characterizes radar, aerospace and defense sources from 1 MHz to 40 GHz, at offsets from 0.01 Hz to 100 MHz. At 10 GHz, sensitivity reaches −135 dBc/Hz at 10 kHz offset after one cross-correlation. Options add pulsed phase noise down to 50 ns pulses, burst, additive, AM noise, transient and VCO analysis. An SCPI command set supports production test. Models 7070 and 7300 cover 7 and 26 GHz.
