SOTA resistors qualified to MIL-PRF-55342/10

Engineers at State of the Art Inc. (SOTA) in State College, Pa., qualified their 1010 high-reliability thin-film chip resistors to MIL-PRF-55342/10 (revision G). This military standard, administered by the U.S. Defense Supply Center Columbus in Columbus, Ohio, is the space-level reliability performance specification for fixed film chip resistors. SOTA`s chip resistors are for mission-critical applications such as manned space flight, life-support systems, and human-implantable medical devices. They measure 0.105 by 0.1 by 0.02 inches, and are available with pretinned, wraparound-nickel-barrier or gold-wire-bondable terminations.
