AR Modular RF in Bothell, Wash., is offering the model CMS2010 solid-state laterally diffused metal-oxide silicon (LDMOS) power-amplifier module to meet 802.16 WiMAX specifications. The 50-watt, 47 dBm linear power-amplifier module spans the 2.5-to-2.7 GHz frequency range, has a gain of 45 dB minimum, and can be modified to meet various OFDM and NPR requirements. The amplifier is protected from thermal overload, overpower, overvoltage, and wrong voltage polarity, and contains an internal isolator. The Model CMS2010 is part of AR’s extensive family of power-amplifier modules for wireless applications such as CDMA, HDTV, and WiMAX.
