John Keller, Editor in Chief
Military & Aerospace Electronics magazine begins 2007 with a new department in the publication’s print edition called European Watch.
This new section will feature news, in-brief items, and a column with a unique European perspective called The View From Europe by Annie Turner, our correspondent in the United Kingdom.
Europe remains a mainstay in the global defense and aerospace industry where electronics and electro-optical systems are concerned, and this new section of the magazine will give readers in Europe and throughout the world the news and analysis they need to keep abreast of developments.
The new European Watch section in Military & Aerospace Electronics will pick up the slack left in the wake of the closure of the Military & Aerospace Electronics Europe print magazine and site on the World Wide Web.
The new section will provide focused and authoritative technical information for designing today’s and tomorrow’s military and aerospace electronic and electro-optic systems for the armed services of European nations.
The section will offer news and analysis of case studies, applications of new products, industry opinion, design and procurement trends, emerging standards, program updates, budgets, and contracts.
The new European Watch section will be the place in the magazine where readers can learn about the standards, technologies, and applications of primary concern to European electronics companies, European defense forces, and the European soldier, sailor, and airman in the field.
