Eaton unveils analog display controller

Engineers at the Navy Controls Division of Eaton Corp. of Danbury, Conn., developed a new plug-and-play liquid crystal display (LCD) interface controller for the NEC analog LCD panels used in demanding military, industrial, and commercial applications. The NAI-3 video card is designed to give systems designers a way to drive VGA to SXGA high-resolution flat panel displays. The card is compatible with interlaced and progressive scan systems, and enables designers to use power-saving functions on any compatible video monitor. It also controls brightness, image position, image sizing, and fine-tuning.
