White offers mil-grade PowerPC 603e

Officials of White Microelectronics in Phoenix are offering the PowerPC 603e microprocessor in the military temperature range of -55 degrees Celsius to 125 C. White designers intend this new device, the WC64P603E-XXM, for embedded applications that need low power, high performance, and extended temperature operations in aerospace, missile, and other rugged applications. The device is available in either a 240-lead, 1.23-inch square ceramic quad flatpack, or in a 256-bump ball grid array measuring 0.827 square inch.
