Engineers at Aeroflex/Comstron of Plainview, N.Y., are offering their new model MS5000-150 frequency synthesizer designed especially for fighter aircraft. The device covers a frequency range of 9 to 15 GHz and has a switching speed faster than 30 nanoseconds. The package is 6-by-6-by-2 inches and weights 4.5 pounds.
