LARGO, Md., 27 Sept. 2005. Multimax, Inc. announced today that the Navy has awarded a large software development and support contract to a joint venture between Multimax and Array Information Technology, Inc.

The contract has a potential value of some $36 million over the initial performance period and four option periods ending in 2010. The Navy Systems Support Group will issue specific task orders under the new contract as support requirements are identified. Work will be performed primarily at Anteon's Montgomery, Ala. Solutions Center.

Multimax will lead a team providing development, implementation, maintenance, training, configuration management, and help desk services to support the Navy Systems Support Group's program management responsibility for the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance (FEM) system throughout the Department of Defense (DoD).

Navy Shipyards, Air Force Air Logistics Centers, Army Depots, Navy Aviation Depots, and the Army Corps of Engineers use FEM to manage facilities and industrial equipment operations and maintenance, including management of a wide variety of asset classes.
The FEM system is based on MRO Software, Inc.'s MAXIMO Enterprise IT solution.

The joint venture, known as MultimaxArray FEM, was organized by Multimax, as the mentor, and Array, as the protege, under the Small Business Administration's Mentor-Protege Program for companies, such as Array, participating in the SBA's 8(a) Business Development Program.

MultimaxArray FEM teamed with Anteon Corp. for this project. Anteon, founded in 1976, provides effective, leading-edge IT solutions and engineering services to government clients. With annual revenue in 2004 of over $1.2 billion, the company has over 9,400 employees in over 100 offices worldwide.

Anton has a long history of configuring, implementing and integrating enterprise IT solutions to meet their customers' asset management requirements. Anteon's experience and expertise with MAXIMO Enterprise IT solutions extends to more than 45 sites supporting over 6,000 users, including the Dover Port Mortuary for the Air Force Mobility Command and the Electronics Systems Center for the Air Force Materiel Command.

"We are delighted to have won this large new Navy contract with our protege company, Array, and to prevail once again with our renowned partner, Anteon," said Carleton Jones, president of Multimax. "Special thanks to Anteon and to our superb Multimax management team in Montgomery, Ala. for this significant win."
